BTS, TXT, aespa NCT 127, ITZY, And BLACKPINK Tops Billboard’s World Albums Chart

 


Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on October 23!

aespa’s new mini album “Savage,” which marks the rookie group’s first physical album release, shot to No. 1 on this week’s World Albums chart. “Savage” also debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums this week, in addition to entering the Billboard 200 at No. 20 and the Top Album Sales chart at No. 2.

NCT 127’s latest studio album “Sticker” came in at No. 4 on the World Albums chart this week. “Sticker” also spent a fourth week on the Billboard 200, making it only the second K-pop album of 2021 to achieve the feat.

BTS landed an impressive total of five albums on this week’s World Albums chart: “Map of the Soul: 7” held onto its spot at No. 5, followed by “BE” at No. 9, “Love Yourself: Tear” at No. 11, “Love Yourself: Her” at No. 12, and “Love Yourself: Answer” at No. 14.

Meanwhile, ITZY’s first studio album “CRAZY IN LOVE” stayed strong at No. 6 in its third consecutive week on the chart.

TXT’s “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” rose to No. 8 in its 20th week, extending its own record as the longest-charting K-pop album of 2021. “The Chaos Chapter: FREEZE” also re-entered Billboard’s Tastemaker Albums chart at No. 2 this week.

Finally, BLACKPINK’s “THE ALBUM” ranked No. 10 in its 54th week on the World Albums chart.
