IU’s newest single “Strawberry Moon” is a chart-topping hit!
Following its release on October 19 at midnight KST, “Strawberry Moon” immediately went on to top the major domestic music charts. As of 5:30 p.m. KST, the song continues to reign at the top of Melon’s 24Hits and daily charts, Genie’s real-time chart, FLO’s 24Hours chart, and Bugs’ daily and real-time charts.
The pop-rock song is written and composed by IU, alongside producer Lee Jong Hoon, and combines electronic elements with a refreshing beat. The music video was produced by Flipevil, who also worked with IU for her previous release, “LILAC.” The video stars rookie actor Lee Jong Won who is known for his roles in dramas “Hospital Playlist 2” and “The Spies Who Loved Me.”
