BTS Breaks New Record As "My Universe" With Coldplay Debuts At No. 1 On Billboard Hot 100


BTS and Coldplay's collaboration single "My Universe" enters the Hot 100 at No. 1! 

On October 4 nearby time, Billboard uncovered that BTS and Coldplay's new collaboration debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100  charts dated October 9, 2021. "My Universe" came in at the top with 11.5 million streams in the United States, 5.5 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 127,000 downloads and physical singles combined. 


Released on September 24, “My Universe” is now BTS’s sixth song to top the Hot 100, following “Dynamite,” “Savage Love (Laxed – Siren Beat)” with Jawsh 685 and Jason Derulo, “Life Goes On,” “Butter,” and “Permission to Dance.”

“My Universe” is also BTS’s fifth song to debut in first place on the Hot 100, making BTS the group with the most songs to debut at No. 1. For the overall record including solo artists, BTS is tied with Ariana Grande and Drake.

“My Universe” also takes No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S.

The song enters the Digital Song Sales chart (which measures digital sales in the United States) at No. 1 as well, marking BTS’s ninth No. 1 and extending their record for the group with the most No. 1s on the chart.
